Rec Program Overview
Hays Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) offers recreational soccer for youth players in the Buda and Kyle area and surrounding Hays County and South Austin communities. We have Division 4 recreational teams (U5-U10) and Division 3 recreational teams (U11+). Our Division 4 teams play intra-association (HYSA) games. Our Division 3 teams (U11+) play inter-association teams within the Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA).
Season Dates
Fall Season: generally starts after Labor Day and ends before Thanksgiving break (mid Sept-Oct)
Spring Season: generally starts in mid-February and ends in mid-May
Age Groups
For specific age-group details please select the appropriate age group below.
Note: Age groups are based on the birth year of the player. For instance, a player who was born in 2011 would play at the U6 age group in the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 soccer seasons. Refer to the age chart for additional information.
